MEETING US

The first step is to contact Electric Escape so we can discuss all your requirements. We can meet in person, or phone and email if preferred. At Electric Escape, we follow a process, seeking to learn as much about our client's wants and needs before we do any design work.


In our initial consultation, we will ask you to provide us with some examples of what you like - either other websites, magazine ads, logos... whatever your project entails. We will want you to let us know what your objectives are and what kinds of things you like - either design-wise or feature-wise. From there, we will write you a detailed estimate and feature outline. This outline will describe what each feature of your website or print project will consist of and how much the estimated cost will be.


The initial consultation and quote is all done free-of-charge... all we ask is that you follow up with us, even if the estimate doesn't work for you: tell us so, it's just common courtesy.


Once we have agreement on the project details we move to the design process below.

CONCEPTS

With our minds full of wonder, we start putting the ideas together. We start by doing the first mockup in Photoshop and send it to you for feedback. This is usually done with 3 days of our initial meeting.
If this is website, we will provide a flat, non-animated version of the first page of your website. If it's a logo, we will provide a series of around 10-15 logo concepts based on your ideas.
It is your job to review those and provide us with accurate feedback so that we can refine our designs to your liking.
Once you are happy with the final design we code your website in html and post it online (in an area that only you can access) for you to view.

DEVELOPMENT / PRODUCTION

Once design is approved, we move into production. Electric Escape can work with you to develop content, or we can provide the services of a copyrighted. We add content as it is created and work out any interface issues that need fixing. The final step of development is optimising your website for search engines.
We apply a rigorous and detailed approach to our development work, ensuring that the completed implementation matches the finalized design.

DELIVERY

Once the website is complete we can then upload it to your server and point your domain to the new site. We also can register your domain for you, setup your hosting and maintain your new site. We can manage your content and add new pages and functions to your site as your business grows. This is quite affordable as we charge very reasonable rates for maintaining your site.
If it's a content management system or ecommerce shopping cart, we provide all the knowledge transfer and documentation necessary to keep the site in its optimal form.
